For its development, we combined our selection of Grapefruit (Cinderella 99 x Thai) with a genetic with high levels of CBD that we keep secret. From the Grapefruit it inherits its delicious sweet and fruity taste, while from the CBD mother it inherits a cannabidiol content of 20-24%!
How to grow CBD Grapefruit
This is a simple plant in the hands of any grower. It grows with great vigour from the first moment due to its Sativa dominance, but at the same time it is very easy to control.
Outdoors, if your climate permits and you want a real tree, it germinates in early spring and will grow to a height of sometimes 3 metres. Its structure is typical of a fir tree, but it is also grateful for an apical pruning to encourage the development of secondary branches.
It prefers warm climates and a dry early autumn, as it will be harvested in mid-October.
Indoors it is an odorous strain even in the growth phase, so we recommend using a good anti-odour system.
Once the photoperiod is lowered to flowering, a strong stretching occurs. If plants are not pruned, no more than 4 weeks of vegetative period is recommended.
Flowering is fast and in about 50-60 days depending on the phenotype, you will be harvesting.
Characteristics of CBD Grapefruit
The buds are large, compact and very resinous. It is the perfect variety for making any type of extract due to its great return, ideal for making tinctures.
The aroma and taste is very reminiscent of its mother Grapefruit, with clear sweet hints of ripe pineapple and sour grapefruit.
There are no psychoactive effects. Instead, it provides a state of relaxation, well-being, mental clarity and to some extent a little sleep.
