San Bacio Gelato was created in early 2020 as a result of a collaboration between Humboldt Seed Organization, originating from Northern California, and the acclaimed breeder Mario Guzmán, also known as Sherbinski.

The original strain is born from a cross between Bacio Gelato and 3 Kings Blueberry Headband. Bacio Gelato, a strain from Sherbinski, is a cross between Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Cookies, while 3 Kings Blueberry Headband is a cross between Blueberry Headband and Three Kings.

Our bulk San Bacio Gelato seeds are selected from a stabilized elite clone of the original variety, thus retaining all the characteristics of this incredible genetics.

This strain, for its part, is known for being a cannabis “monster”, capable of reaching up to 4 meters in height and producing almost 3 kg of harvest. With a 75% indica dominance, San Bacio Gelato exhibits a lush structure with broad leaves and firm branches that emerge in all directions. This strain has earned a special place among cannabis enthusiasts, particularly those who appreciate Californian genetics.

How to grow San Bacio Gelato

Regarding the cultivation of San Bacio Gelato, it should be noted that this plant exhibits vigorous growth and requires adequate nutrition, particularly in terms of nitrogen, to maintain its dark green color and support its biological functions.

For indoor cultivation, it is recommended to have between 6 and 9 plants per square meter. During the flowering phase, which is usually between the 3rd and 6th week, it is advisable to perform trimming on the upper part of the plant, allowing the lower part to receive more light, which in turn helps the buds to grow to their full potential. It is important not to overdo pruning in the middle layers. Additionally, placing a trellis or stakes in the final phase of flowering can be beneficial.

In outdoor cultivation, San Bacio Gelato adapts well to different weather conditions. It is versatile and resilient in both dry and humid environments. Although it does not require much additional support, placing a simple trellis towards the end of the flowering phase and removing some leaves can be beneficial to allow light penetration. Special care should be taken if you do not want the size of this plant to be a problem, as some phenotypes have reached 4 meters in height.

Characteristics of San Bacio Gelato

San Bacio Gelato develops compact and dense buds that accumulate in the upper part of the plant. They are known for being impregnated with resin, especially in the final weeks of flowering. Its terpene profile is extremely complex and delightful, with a penetrating aroma of berries, cinnamon, and black pepper, complemented by subtle notes of lemon peel, pine wood, and earth, evoking the sensation of savoring an exquisite ice cream.

As for its production, outdoors, the plant can produce up to 3 kg per plant, while indoors, the yield is between 450-600 grams per square meter. The THC level in this strain is astounding, ranging between 20 and 25%, which suggests that it should be consumed with caution, especially by those not familiar with high-potency strains.

These characteristics make San Bacio Gelato an unparalleled weed strain for connoisseurs who are looking for high-quality seeds and unforgettable flavor. Sherbinski, as one of the most legendary breeders, has left his mark on this essential variety that any grower must try.
