Skunk Auto is our autoflowering version of the most cultivated and influential variety in history and without which many of today’s hybrids would not be conceived.
Skunk #1 is a variety originated in the United States, but became world famous in Holland. It is a hybrid Mexico x Colombia x Afghan and one of the flagships of Sensi Seeds, one of the banks that still work with the original line.
It was one of the first hybrids adapted to indoor growing and gave rise to such legendary varieties as Amnesia, Jack Herer, Diesel or Super Silver Haze. We can safely say that more than 80% of today’s strains contain Skunk genes in one way or another.
How to grow Skunk Auto
It is one of the simplest plants and most often recommended to beginner growers for its reliability and good results both indoors and outdoors. For the expert grower, it may be a return to the origins.
Outdoors, in optimal conditions, it reaches a discreet height of 1-1.3 meters, ideal for terraces and small balconies, where it will go unnoticed by prying eyes.
Indoors it does not complicate the crops due to its medium stretching. But it is one of the cannabis strains with the most intense and recognizable odor, which requires the use of a good anti-odor system.
For the largest and most productive plants, we recommend using a large pot from the start. The plants will grow without interruption for about 3-4 weeks and then start flowering. In a total of 9 weeks, it can be harvested.
Characteristics of Skunk Auto
The buds are large, compact, resinous and stinky, its aroma and flavor is famous for its intensity, ranking among the first. The earthy, acrid and skunky touches are inherited to a greater or lesser extent in all its offspring.
