Blueberry Regular is one of the tastiest strains ever created. It’s an indica-dominant hybrid that blends genetics from Thailand and Afghanistan. It reaches an average height of 6.5 ft and has a short flowering period of just 8 weeks. Its yield is moderate, but the quality of the buds more than makes up for it: they’re rock-hard, extremely resinous and show beautiful bluish hues. The flavor is spectacular, with a very pronounced blueberry taste. The effects are uplifting and energizing at any time of day.

Blueberry is an indica/sativa hybrid developed between the late ’70s and early ’80s by the breeder known as DJ Short, who combined Thai sativas and Afghan indicas. After a long breeding program, the result is close to perfect.
Today there are many versions of this classic. For ours, we picked a carefully selected female and male to offer a strain that’s true to the original and keeps the traits that made it famous.
It’s an easy, fast-growing plant that adapts to both indoor and outdoor grows. It doesn’t handle heavy feeding well, so go light on the nutes.
Outdoors it’s a very discreet strain that usually stays under 6.5 ft. Its structure is fairly columnar, with compact, sturdy branches that will hold the weight of the buds.
The flowering period is short and it’s harvested between late September and early October. It’s also mold-resistant, so it handles slightly high humidity well, a plus in the Northeast or the Pacific Northwest.
Indoors it adapts to all growing techniques, although the best option for the highest yields is hands down SOG from small clones.
It’s ready in just 55 days from the switch to the flowering photoperiod. The smell during this stage is delicious but also very intense, so consider a good carbon filter.
The tallest outdoor plants yield up to 28 oz (about 1.75 lb) per plant. With a 300–350 W LED, anyone can harvest 1.3–1.5 oz per sq ft indoors. It’s not the most productive strain, but it makes up for it with unique qualities like its flavor.
The buds are extremely dense and very sticky, and their glistening resin contrasts with really striking blue and purple hues.
The aroma and flavor are unmistakable: it smells like blueberries and tastes like blueberries. Since these are regular seeds, selecting a male for home crosses is just as worthwhile as selecting a female, and you can count on them all inheriting this special flavor.
