CBD Therapy
CBD Therapy is a CBD-rich feminized strain with a very mild, balanced effect. It’s super easy to grow indoors and outdoors and produces large, resinous buds with a pleasant fruity, earthy and sweet flavor. Its high level of CBD, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid, gives you a relaxed, clear-headed experience.
Looking for a CBD-rich strain that’s easy to grow and doesn’t get you high? Then CBD Therapy could be exactly what you need.
It’s a plant with high cannabidiol levels and only trace amounts of THC, so it has no psychoactive effect. That’s something more and more people are looking for.
CBD Therapy was developed by CBD Crew, a project born from a collaboration between the breeders behind the Mr Nice and Resin Seeds seed banks.
Its exact genetic background is unknown, but we do know it took up to 4 generations to reach the great stability it has today.
While most plants show THC:CBD ratios between 1:15 and 1:22, a few phenotypes produce a bit more THC.
How to grow CBD Therapy
What’s the first thing every beginner grower asks for? Before flavor or effect, it’s ease of growing. Nobody wants to fight with fussy, demanding plants on their first grow, indoors or out.
Outdoors, the plants grow fast and very vigorously. If you germinate them in early spring, they’ll easily reach 6.5-8 ft tall. It prefers areas with a dry early fall, like California or the Southwest, since it’s harvested in mid-October.
Indoors, even though it’s an easy strain, it’s best not to drag out the vegetative stage. Four weeks after germination, or at around 12 in tall, you can flip it to flower. Another option is a training technique such as SCROG.
From the switch to 12/12, CBD Therapy is ready to harvest in about 9 weeks. The smell during flowering is intense, so if you want to stay low-key, use a good odor-control setup.
CBD Therapy traits
The buds are large and resinous, ideal for making all kinds of extracts such as rosin, hash or BHO, plus homemade infusions and other preparations.
Another strong point is its aroma and flavor, with very pleasant notes ranging from sweet fruit to the earthy touch of truffle.
It has a mild effect thanks to its high CBD content, a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that softens the effect of THC. After smoking it you’ll notice a sense of calm, well-being and mellow relaxation, with a clear head.
CBD Therapy is a very productive strain. With the biggest plants grown outdoors, you’ll have no trouble topping 35 oz (over 2 lb).
Indoors, even the least experienced grower will get enviable harvests. In dialed-in grows you can reach 1.6 oz per sq ft.
