The first thing that sets Cookies OG apart is its aromatic blend: cookie-dough and pastry sweetness over an earthy, kushy, resinous OG base. Pine, mint, citrus, spice and fuel can join this foundation, creating an intense profile with a long-lasting finish on the palate.
Its genetics bring together the Girl Scout Cookies family and OG Kush lines. Several documented selections exist under the Cookies OG name, including Girl Scout Cookies × Hardcore OG and Girl Scout Cookies × Joe’s OG Kush. What they share is the combination of the sweet Cookies character with a more earthy, citrusy, gassy and spicy OG influence.
In the grow room, it is a mostly indica photoperiod strain suited to indoor and outdoor growing. It develops dense, resinous flowers with standout resin production. Yields can range from moderate to high depending on the selection, phenotype and growing conditions.
Our breeders rate it as moderately difficult, so it suits growers who already have some experience. Flowering usually takes between 8 and 10 weeks, with 9 weeks as a common benchmark. It can also be grown outdoors, where it loves plenty of sun and close attention to humidity late in flowering, since its flowers are very dense.
Its THC level is typically around 24–25%, according to our breeders' lab results, although certain selections may report higher numbers. CBD usually stays below 1%.
Cookies OG combines an initial euphoric, cheerful and creative phase with a gradual shift toward calm and deeper body relaxation. Thanks to its indica dominance and strong potency, the body side can end up taking over after the more cerebral, uplifting start.
The feedback we get mostly agrees on its flavor and its effect on the appetite. Growers highlight how tasty it is and how clearly you can sense the blend of its two genetic sides, and several mention some serious munchies. Most stress how delicious it is, although, as with any genetic line, not everyone's tastes are the same.
On the nose and palate, the Cookies side recalls a sweet cookie coated in layers of resin and spice, while the OG influence leaves earth, pine, mint, lemon and fuel in the background. This sensory shift pairs well with an effect that also changes gears: livelier and more cerebral at first, then calmer and heavier.
These Cookies OG seeds are made for anyone looking for a modern indica with dense flowers, heavy resin and complex aromas. Its mix of bakery-style sweetness, kush nuances and a typical flowering time of 8–10 weeks makes it a very distinctive option among Cookies genetics.
If you love Cookies genetics or old-school OGs, Cookies OG brings the best of both families together in a single plant. The spotlight stays where it belongs: on its genetics, its aromatic profile and its reliable behavior in the grow.
