How Critical Jack behaves in the grow

Critical Jack can be grown indoors and outdoors. It shows vigorous, even and hardy growth, and holds up well against insects and disease. Its open structure helps both light penetration and airflow. All of this makes it approachable for growers with basic or intermediate experience.

Flowering usually wraps up in around 60-63 days, roughly 8-9 weeks. Our breeders pay special attention to the strong stretch at the start of flowering: don’t drag out the vegetative stage if your vertical space is limited. Outdoors it thrives in dry, sunny, mild climates like California’s, with harvest typically between late September and mid-October.

Critical Jack effects

With around 20% THC, its effect is described as strong, long-lasting and clear-headed. The first phase is usually heady, energetic and stimulating, associated with euphoria, motivation, creativity, sociability and focus. A gradual body relaxation may follow, balancing the mental buzz without necessarily tipping into instant sedation.

Growers describe onsets ranging from a gentle start followed by calm to an initial buzz that slowly turns into relaxation. Many point to its energy and focus, although for some people the mental buzz can feel a little scattered. As with any strain, the experience varies from person to person.

On the nose and palate, dominant terpinolene is joined by caryophyllene and pinene. Lemon, pine, wood, earth and spice blend over a Haze base, while the smoke is described as smooth and not too harsh. It’s a profile that moves from citrusy, resinous freshness to an earthy, spicy and sweet finish.
