Gelato Mint XXL Auto is a giant autoflower that will surprise you. It's very easy to grow and especially forgiving: you don't need to fuss over it to get some seriously impressive buds. Besides being big, they tend to turn purple, with lots of orange hairs and a dense coating of glistening crystals.
Gelato Mint XXL Auto is an autoflower we're convinced will surprise you. It's a complex three-way hybrid combining the American strains Gelato, Sunset Sherbet and Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints.
We took this cross, highly rated by growers, and bred it over 3 generations with a giant autoflower, which gave it its large size. The result is a strain with above-average yields and outstanding quality.
Every autoflower does better in a large pot from the very start. Keep in mind that these strains have a very short vegetative period and will start flowering after 3-4 weeks.
During that time the plants should grow without interruption to reach the largest possible size. Even a simple transplant stalls their growth for a few days, which is why transplanting isn't recommended with this type of genetics.
In the best conditions it will reach about 4 feet tall, with a sturdy, branching structure. It has a large main cola and lots of side branches that will bend under their own weight during flowering.
From germination, you'll harvest it in a total of 60-65 days. Outdoors you can get up to 3 back-to-back harvests over the spring and summer months. If you only have room for one plant, you can grow up to 3 one after another.
