MK Ultra

MK Ultra characteristics

MK Ultra feminized seeds: compact Kush loaded with resin

Some strains catch the eye because of their size; others stand out for what they build up on their buds. MK Ultra belongs to the second group: it produces dense, sticky flowers heavily coated in trichomes on short, wide plants with an unmistakably indica structure.

Its OG Kush x G13 cross explains much of this character. The compact frame makes height easy to control indoors, while swollen calyxes, orange or reddish pistils and possible dark or purple hues add to its visual appeal. It's common for the plants to grow wider than they are tall and end up frosted in white trichomes.

On the nose and palate it delivers earth, pine, wood, Kush, Skunk, spice and fuel, with phenotypes that can also show citrus, sweet, herbal, minty, floral or coffee notes. Many phenotypes lean toward an earthy, minty, skunky and herbal flavor, while others go gassier, with fuel and a Kush aftertaste.

How this strain behaves in the grow

Our breeders rate it as medium difficulty. Its restrained, sturdy, bushy growth makes it especially manageable indoors, where it tends to reach about 3 to 4 feet. Flowering usually finishes in 56–63 days, about 8–9 weeks, and outdoors harvest falls around October.

During flowering it keeps a compact indica shape and stands out for its resin production. As a pro tip, keep a close eye on the plant halfway through bloom and adjust your approach to how it responds. Up to that point, even first-time growers usually find it pretty straightforward.

MK Ultra effects

MK Ultra doesn't open like a purely physical indica. The onset is usually fast, heady, euphoric and intense, before moving toward deep physical relaxation, calm, body heaviness, the munchies and growing drowsiness. In larger amounts it can be very heavy and bring on serious couch-lock.

That progression shows up again and again: heady yet clearly felt in the body, euphoric and relaxing, and still functional as long as you don't overdo it. Its long duration also stands out, as does a potency that may feel like too much if your tolerance is low.

The experience is like peeling back a layer of damp earth, pine, spice and Kush to find a gassy base that lingers on the palate. That bold aromatic opening comes with a strong mental lift before the physical weight slowly takes over.
