Skunk #1 is a strain born in the United States that became world-famous in the Netherlands. It is a Mexico x Colombia x Afghan hybrid popularized by Sensi Seeds.
It was one of the first hybrids adapted to indoor growing and gave rise to legendary strains like Amnesia, Jack Herer, Diesel and Super Silver Haze. It's safe to say that more than 80% of today’s strains carry Skunk genes in one way or another.
How to Grow Skunk Auto
It is one of the easiest plants around and one of the most recommended for beginners, thanks to its reliability and good results both indoors and outdoors. For experienced growers, it will probably feel like a return to their roots.
Outdoors, in ideal conditions, it reaches a discreet height of 3-4 feet, ideal for patios and small balconies, where it will stay out of sight of nosy neighbors.
Indoors it causes no trouble, since its stretch is moderate. However, it is one of the cannabis strains with the most intense smell, and one of the most recognizable, so you'll need a good odor-control setup.
For the biggest, most productive plants, we recommend using a big pot from the very start. The plants will grow without interruption for about 3-4 weeks and then begin flowering. In 9 weeks total, you can harvest.
Characteristics of Skunk Auto
The buds are big, compact, resinous and stinky; their aroma and flavor are famous for their intensity, among the strongest out there. Their earthy, acrid and skunky touches have been passed on, to a greater or lesser degree, to all their offspring.
