Orange and tangerine are the hallmarks of Tangie Auto. This sativa-dominant autoflower brings the citrusy, sweet and energetic character of the Tangie family to an automatic plant that flowers regardless of light schedule. During flowering, the most expressive phenotypes can give off an intense orange or tangerine smell.
Its base line is related to Tangie and, through it, to California Orange and Skunk #1. That heritage explains both its citrus profile and its herbal, earthy or slightly skunky undertones. In the grow it develops a medium-sized, open, branching structure, with vigorous side branches and good spacing between nodes. It can reach around 4 feet in good conditions and form resinous, bright green buds with orange pistils.
Based on our breeders' experience, this is a fairly easy genetic to grow that responds well to LST and moderate spreading of the branches. Its structure lets light get in better than with very compact autoflowers. Avoid excessive stress, stalls and overfeeding during the first few weeks, since an early setback can cut the final yield.
A practical tip is to put it in its final pot from the start, keep light intensity high and make sure airflow is constant. Outdoors it likes good conditions that keep growth active and free of stalls. Yield depends heavily on pot size, light, training and experience: the typical reference is around 2-4 oz per plant, and with well-executed pruning and training you can hit the top of that range or beyond. Even with growing mistakes it tends to produce good-looking buds, and growers who try it often come back for more.
With up to roughly 23% THC, according to our breeders' tests, its potency runs from medium-high to high. The effect is uplifting, euphoric, creative and social, with a mentally alert feel and a character clearly better suited to daytime than nighttime. It can feel intense if you have a low tolerance or are particularly sensitive to very active sativa profiles.
This is not a genetic built for heavy sedation. It is better suited to music, conversation, creativity and light activities where you want positive energy and clarity. Its personality matches its aroma: tangerine, sweet orange and citrus peel lead into ripe fruit and herbal, earthy or slightly skunky undertones. Throughout flowering the orange scent is very recognizable, although some phenotypes lean closer to tangerine.
