Some Hazes demand patience, and Amnesia Haze clearly belongs in that group. Its long flowering period lets it build resinous flowers that stay compact once dried, with a good bud-to-leaf ratio when grown well. The payoff is in the nose too: lemon, lime and bright citrus over a classic Haze background.
This genetic is roughly 80% sativa and 20% indica. Its lineage is traditionally linked to Afghan, Hawaiian, Jamaican and Southeast Asian influences, plus the Haze character that ties the whole strain together. Different selections exist under this name, so expect some variation between phenotypes.
Amnesia Haze seeds from Bulk Genetics are made for growers after a historic sativa with vigor, a strong stretch and the potential for heavy harvests. Its THC sits at around 19%, although some phenotypes can test higher, according to our breeders' lab tests.
Our breeders rate it as medium-high difficulty. Indoors, it usually needs 10-12 weeks of flowering, with typical runs close to 84 days and phenotypes that can approach 90. It grows vigorously and tends to gain height fast, so controlling the stretch from the start really pays off.
During flowering, it likes plenty of feeding, good ventilation and controlled humidity, especially toward the end of the cycle. Given its sativa structure and long ripening period, outdoors it's best suited to places with a long, warm season, like California, the Southwest or the South, where it can finish that long bloom in good conditions. The more sativa phenotypes can need around 90 days, grow very fast and finish covered in resin-loaded buds. Growers describe it as easy to manage, a hungry feeder and a big producer of flowers and resin.
Its profile is clearly made for daytime: it starts with a clear, stimulating mental lift that can feel euphoric, happy, creative, giggly and talkative. It leans toward activity, socializing and focus rather than a heavy experience before bed. Smokers tend to highlight its energy, creativity, upbeat mood and social vibe.
Don't mistake that functional character for mildness. Amnesia Haze can be intense and highly psychoactive, especially at high doses or for sensitive people. Some people have reported moments of paranoia or dizziness, along with dry mouth and dry eyes.
In aroma and flavor, lemon and lime bring the bright side, while earth, spices and classic Haze build the base. Depending on phenotype and cure, mint, pine, mild hash, a light hint of gas and some pungency can come through. It's a profile that opens fresh and citrusy but leaves a more earthy, spicy impression.
