The big appeal of Amnesia Skunk is that it takes a shortcut to the character of a classic Haze. Its ruderalis genetics usually let it finish its cycle in around 10-12 weeks from seed to harvest, typically close to 77 days, while still leaving time to build resin and an intense aromatic profile.
The cross of Amnesia Haze, Original Skunk and ruderalis combines the cerebral, citrusy side of Amnesia with the vigor and sturdy structure of Skunk. The result is a compact to medium-sized hybrid with good flower formation and resinous buds. Structure and yield can vary between phenotypes and growing conditions.
Indoors, it usually reaches around 33 inches and produces roughly 1-1.1 oz per square foot. Outdoors, with good light, enough root space and a favorable climate, it can reach around 4-5 feet. Outdoor yields vary much more: available data range from plants giving under 1 oz to standouts topping 3-3.5 oz.
Our breeders rate it as easy to medium in difficulty. The resilience it gets from Skunk helps, while its Haze side likes a strong start, good lighting and steady watering. Use the final pot from the start and avoid heavy or late stress that could slow down its cycle.
It performs well indoors and outdoors and is especially interesting in warm, dry climates like California's. In late flowering, keep humidity in check and make sure ventilation is adequate. It needs very little maintenance when it gets the right light, nutrients and rest.
Its effect is mainly in the head: stimulating, happy, euphoric, creative and social. In moderate amounts, it can feel clear and pleasant, with a more relaxing body base courtesy of Skunk. It's especially well suited to creative activities, conversation and daytime or early-afternoon sessions.
In larger amounts, it can get much more intense and cerebral. In small doses it tends to feel calm and creative, while at higher amounts the name Amnesia starts to make perfect sense, and many people are surprised by its potency. These are impressions from individual experiences, not a guarantee of the same intensity for everyone.
On the nose it offers a Haze, citrus, herbal, sweet, earthy and spicy range, with fresh, woody notes and a pronounced skunky base. On the palate it keeps that interplay of freshness, light sweetness, wood, earth and spice: a classic, penetrating profile that clearly honors its Haze and Skunk roots.
