Ripe blueberry defines the personality of Blueberry Crumble. This clearly indica-dominant feminized photoperiod strain produces dense, firm and very resinous buds, with a thick layer of trichomes that may come with blue, purple or dark hues and deep orange pistils.
Its lineage is mainly listed as Blueberry x Purple Panty Dropper, although some versions show up as Blueberry x OG Kush. The Blueberry influence accounts for much of its blue-fruit profile and dessert-like sweetness, while the other side of the cross can boost density, color, potency and resin.
The aroma combines blueberry, sweet berries, ripe fruit, soft earth and floral notes. Depending on the phenotype and the cure, hints of light citrus, fruity skunk, gas, pine, pepper, hops, menthol, caramel, sour grape, orange or pineapple may also come through. Its leading terpenes are caryophyllene, myrcene and limonene.
Our breeders work with a benchmark of 7-9 weeks of flowering, although the fastest lines can finish in 7-8 weeks. Indoors you can keep it at around 4 feet with good control, while outdoors it can reach about 6 feet or more when conditions allow.
It's not an especially difficult strain, but we rate it as intermediate because of the attention its compact flowers need. It does best in warm, dry and well-ventilated environments. Our practical advice: train it early if you want to control its size, and watch humidity during flowering to protect those dense buds. Even in a grow tent it's fairly easygoing and rewards you with frosty flowers that smell like fresh, sweet berries.
