AK 47 Auto

AK 47 Auto is one of the most widely grown autoflowers. This fast version of the legendary AK 47 comes from crossing the original AK 47 with a Ruderalis, so the plant flowers automatically without depending on the light cycle. AK 47, created in the 90s by the Dutch seed bank Serious Seeds, has won multiple awards, including second place for best sativa at the 1999 High Times Cannabis Cup and first place at the Highlife Competition in Spain. This rich genetic heritage ensures AK 47 Auto keeps the quality and potency of its predecessor.

The plant has a sturdy, compact structure, typical of indica-dominant strains. Its Christmas-tree shape, with a large central cola and several satellite branches, is ideal for maximising yield. The buds are dense and hard, a vibrant light green, often dotted with orange pistils and coated in a layer of white resin that makes them look stunning. The amount of resin it produces makes it ideal for high-quality extracts and concentrates.

Flavour and effects

AK 47 Auto stands out not only for its genetics and looks but also for its incredible flavour and aroma. When you smoke it, you will find a complex, delicious profile: its buds offer a mix of citrusy orange notes, ripe fruit, pine, fine woods and a very pleasant chemical background. This rich range of flavours makes every hit unique and unforgettable.

As for its effects, AK 47 Auto is known for its powerful impact. With THC between 15 % and 20 %, it delivers a potent, balanced experience. You will feel a big rush of energy and creativity, followed by a warm, relaxing sensation that wraps you in happiness and calm. This balance between euphoria and relaxation makes AK 47 Auto perfect for both day and night. Its low CBD content, below 1 %, also keeps the effects predominantly psychoactive, for a full-bodied, satisfying experience.

AK 47 Auto terpenes

The terpenes in AK 47 Auto not only give it its unique flavour and aroma but also shape its overall effect. This strain contains a rich combination of terpenes, including alpha-pinene, beta-caryophyllene, beta-pinene, limonene and linalool.

Alpha-pinene and beta-pinene bring fresh, piney aromas and are associated with a clear-headed, alert high. Beta-caryophyllene adds a spicy, woody note that rounds off the flavour. Limonene provides a citrusy orange touch, typical of uplifting, cheerful strains. Finally, linalool offers a floral aroma and is associated with a mellow, calm high.

These terpenes not only enhance the sensory experience of AK 47 Auto but also add to its relaxing, mood-lifting effect. This combination makes AK 47 Auto a pleasure for the senses and an excellent choice if you want a well-rounded effect from your cannabis seeds.

Yield and flowering time

Indoors, AK 47 Auto has a relatively short flowering period of 6 to 8 weeks. In optimal conditions, with good lighting and a controlled environment, you can expect yields of around 400 to 500 grams per square metre. This efficiency in both time and yield makes AK 47 Auto a popular choice for anyone after a quick, abundant harvest.

Outdoors, AK 47 Auto also performs brilliantly, especially in warm climates with plenty of sun. In these conditions, the plants reach a height of 1 to 1.5 metres and produce around 100 to 150 grams per plant. In the northern hemisphere you can sow from April and harvest in early summer; in the southern hemisphere, the season starts in October.

The full life cycle of AK 47 Auto, from germination to harvest, is around 75 days. This speed, combined with its robustness and resistance, lets you get up to three harvests in a single outdoor season if you germinate the seeds in early spring.

How to grow AK 47 Auto

Growing AK 47 Auto is a rewarding experience, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned grower. This strain is known for being easy to grow and for adapting to a wide range of conditions.
