This marvel is the result of crossing the famous Critical Bilbo selection with another selection of Critical Mass from Mr Nice. The outcome is an indica-dominant hybrid refined into an improved, tougher version. With genetics that include Skunk and Afghani, plus ancestors from Colombia and Mexico, Critical + 2.0 offers the best of both worlds: vigorous growth and impressive yields.
Look at a Critical + 2.0 plant and you’ll notice it grows a little taller than other indicas, reaching considerable heights. Its buds are heavy, compact and super sticky, covered in resin that looks almost like diamond frost. This not only makes them look great but also signals high potency and quality. Critical + 2.0 starts flowering between late July and early August. This early flowering lets you harvest before the first autumn rains, reducing the risk of mould and disease.
Critical + 2.0 is a fast-flowering strain, ready to harvest during the second half of September. That’s ideal for areas with wet autumns, as you can harvest before the weather turns.
Critical + 2.0 grows well in any substrate with medium doses of fertiliser. But if you want to maximise yields, it responds very well to high doses of nutrients. Just keep things balanced and don’t overfeed, to avoid leaf burn.
It doesn’t need much care and is very resilient. It’s one of the easiest strains to grow indoors and outdoors: anyone can pull impressive harvests.
The effects are very euphoric and stimulating at first, with a slow, relaxing comedown. It’s perfect for smoking in company.
Critical + 2.0 is mainly indica, although it shows some sativa traits from its genetic heritage. Indicas like Critical + 2.0 tend to be more compact and dense, with faster growth and shorter flowering, and their effects are usually more relaxing, ideal for the end of the day. Sativas, on the other hand, are taller with more open growth and more energising effects.
