Glookies seeds can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse. The plant usually responds well to LST, SCROG, pruning, branch training, mainlining and moderate defoliation. Difficulty is moderate, although many growers find it easy and highlight how generous it proves at harvest.
During flowering it appreciates a stable environment with good ventilation and controlled humidity. Check the inside of the dense buds regularly and keep extraction efficient, as the aroma can become very strong towards the end of the cycle. Outdoors it performs best with good air circulation and no sudden swings in humidity or temperature.
As a rough guide, around 225 g of dry bud has been recorded in hydroponics under a 200 W lamp, and about 83 g dry per plant in 30-litre pots. These are indicative figures, not guaranteed yields, and they show how much light, space, growing medium, training and experience shape the result.
The effect usually opens with a pleasant, lively and euphoric cerebral phase. In moderate amounts it can encourage creativity, motivation, laughter, a good mood and a degree of mental clarity. Those who try it often describe it as clean, solid and motivating, mainly cerebral and with little physical weight at modest doses.
This may be followed by warm, progressive body relaxation, together with calm, the munchies and possible drowsiness. Intensity varies with dose, tolerance and phenotype: a small amount can stay functional, while a high dose can turn heavy and sedating.
On the palate, cookie and nut notes can be wrapped in a cloud of diesel, spice and earth. The first rise clears the air; then the Glue side gradually slows things down, leaving a deeper physical sensation.
