Auto CBD Gorilla Glue is the fastest, CBD-rich version of the legendary American variety. It is a simple, undemanding and very discreet plant that delivers a generous harvest of large, hard, sticky buds. It has no psychoactive effects, as it contains virtually no THC; its CBD (cannabidiol) levels, on the other hand, are very high.
Meet Auto CBD Gorilla Glue, the polar opposite of the famous American Gorilla Glue #4. While the latter is one of the most THC-heavy varieties around, the CBD version has hardly any THC but very high levels of CBD.
To create it, we crossed the original GG4 clone with a CBD Ruderalis, from which it inherits the autoflowering gene and its high cannabidiol content. The result is a CBD-rich variety with a spectacular THC:CBD ratio of around 1:40–1:50, with just 0.17–0.27% THC and 12–14% CBD.
How to grow Auto CBD Gorilla Glue
As with any autoflowering genetics, you will get the best yields by using a pot of at least 20 litres from day one. Avoid transplanting, as it causes stress and many plants respond by stalling for a few days. With such a short vegetative phase, losing a couple of days of growth shows in both final height and yield.
It is very easy to grow, and its average height of 100 cm makes it very discreet, ideal for patios or balconies without drawing attention.
Around 3–4 weeks after the seedling emerges, flowering begins. And in a total of 65 days, you will be harvesting. Because it is so fast, you can bring in up to 3 consecutive harvests over spring and summer.
Characteristics of Auto CBD Gorilla Glue
The buds are large and rock hard. The amount of resin is also astonishing: a real treat for anyone who loves making extracts.
The aromas and flavours stay true to its Gorilla mother. You will pick up hints of lemon, pine and earth, with a very appetising undertone of coffee and chocolate.
The psychoactive effects are nil, as the CBD counteracts the effects of the little THC it contains. It brings a pleasant, relaxing feeling that will not stop you from getting on with anything.
Yield is high and above average. The biggest plants grown outdoors will reach 120 grams. Indoors, with a 300–350 W LED, anyone can achieve 450–550 grams per m².
