Its lineage cannot accurately be reduced to a fixed modern cross. The available information better supports describing it as an old Hawaiian sativa selected on Maui. Some references link it to Hawaiian, Hawaiian Sativa or Jamaican Landrace, but those parents are not universally confirmed.

In the grow room it shows this heritage openly: tall, vigorous plants with a slender structure, long branches, wide internodes and a marked stretch once flowering begins. Outdoors, the most vigorous selections can exceed 300 cm when they have enough space, sunshine and suitable temperatures.

A sativa that needs space and a long season

Our breeders rate it as medium difficulty because of its height, its stretch and its 10–12 weeks of flowering. Indoors, allow plenty of vertical room and keep growth in check, especially if you are working in a small tent. It is not as easy to handle as a compact, short-cycle hybrid.

Outdoors it is best suited to warm, sunny climates with a long season. In the Northern Hemisphere, harvest usually falls between October and November. As a practical tip, plan your space from the outset: its sativa growth pattern can gain a lot of height during flowering, and it does best when it is not cramped in the final stretch.
