Slurricane grabs your attention with a contrast all of its own: dark flowers, white resin and ripe-fruit sweetness resting on an earthy, spicy and gassy base. This is no shy genetic. It smells intense, looks striking and makes it clear from flowering onwards that it comes from a line bred for compact buds.

The Do-Si-Dos x Purple Punch cross shows through on both sides. From Do-Si-Dos it inherits a resinous structure, potency and kush notes of earth and gas. From Purple Punch it takes the purple, fruity, dessert-like side, with hints of grape, berries and red fruit syrup. In purple phenotypes that sweetness becomes more pronounced; green ones can lean towards more cookies-style, gassy profiles.

Its buds usually form dense, compact colas thickly coated in trichomes. Some plants show dark olive greens, amber pistils and plum highlights. With slightly cooler nights at the end of flowering, our breeders have seen anthocyanins deepen those purple tones without losing the layer of resin.

How Slurricane behaves in the grow

Slurricane is vigorous and fairly easy to manage, as long as you keep an eye on the climate. Indoors it finishes flowering in 8-10 weeks, with a common window between days 56 and 63. With good lighting, ventilation and a stable environment, it can yield around 450-500 g/m².

The key is controlling humidity as the buds bulk up. Its flowers are heavy and very dense, so it’s best to bring humidity below roughly 45% in the last few weeks, use stakes or netting and open up the canopy a little with light pruning, LST or gentle defoliation. Outdoors it prefers a warm, sunny and well-ventilated climate. To preserve its aroma of grape, dark fruit, spice and gas, a slow 10-14 day dry helps a great deal.

The Slurricane effect usually builds gradually. First comes a gentle, pleasant euphoria, with a comfortable headspace and a tingle that steadily gains weight. Then the more indica side arrives: deep physical relaxation, heavy limbs, sedation and possible couch-lock.

It isn’t the best variety for productive tasks, active plans or moments that call for concentration. It suits evening sessions, rest and low activity much better. Even high-tolerance users describe it as a strong, very physical come-up that’s not ideal for being out in public or making plans.
