How do CBD autoflower seeds work?

They're CBD seeds with ruderalis genetics: the plant starts flowering with age, 3–4 weeks after germination, without needing 12 hours of darkness. The whole cycle takes around 8–10 weeks and the plant stays small: the product pages of Red Berry, Gorilla Glue and Haze Pure CBD Auto mention 35–43 inches.

That speed comes at a price: the plant has very little time to grow before it flowers, and whatever it loses in those weeks it never makes up. That's why our product pages all give the same advice: sow it in its final pot from day one and skip transplanting, which can set it back a few days. The Gorilla Glue CBD Auto page recommends at least a 5-gallon pot.

Indoors you can keep the same light schedule from start to finish. And since they flower on their own, they also suit patios and balconies where streetlights or limited sun hours aren't ideal for a photoperiod plant. There's more about this type of plant in autoflowering cannabis.

The fastest is Haze Pure CBD Auto, ready 8 weeks after germination; the smallest, Red Berry CBD Auto, which rarely grows past 3 feet. The lowest in THC is Gorilla Glue CBD Auto (0.17–0.27%), and the biggest yielder per plant outdoors is Haze Pure CBD Auto, with up to 7 oz.

"Not stated" means the product page doesn't give the figure. The indoor yield is the one on each product page, under a 300–350 W LED; yours will depend on your light, your space and your experience. If you want the lowest THC, Gorilla Glue CBD Auto has a ratio of 1:40 to 1:50 according to its product page, and Haze Pure CBD Auto, 1:13 to 1:36. If you prefer a balanced profile, White Widow CBD Auto is the only 1:1 in stock; its page warns that the cycle can stretch to around 75 days or more, so harvest when the plant is ready, not by the calendar. Red Berry CBD Auto stands out for its deep red buds, and you'll find it alongside other strains of that color in red cannabis strains.

Several outdoor harvests and discreet grows

Since they go from seed to harvest in around 8–10 weeks, outdoors you can run several grows back to back in one season: the product pages of Pure, Red Berry and Gorilla Glue CBD Auto talk about up to 3 harvests between spring and summer. And being compact, they don't draw attention on a balcony or in the backyard.

To stagger them, sow one batch after your last frost and another as you harvest the previous one; that way you spread out the work and don't depend on a single fall harvest. In long, warm seasons like California's, the Southwest or the South you'll fit in more rounds than in the Pacific Northwest, the Northeast or the northern states. Outdoors each plant yields less than a big feminized one, from 1.5 to 7 oz depending on the strain, but it takes up little space and finishes fast. Keep the smell in mind: the Gorilla Glue and Red Berry CBD Auto pages warn that they're very pungent in flower, and indoors you'll need a carbon filter.

Between 8 and 10 weeks from germination for the strains we have in stock: 8 weeks for Haze Pure CBD Auto, 63 days for Red Berry CBD Auto, 65 days for Gorilla Glue CBD Auto and 63–70 days for White Widow CBD Auto, which runs longer in some grows.

Which CBD autoflower has the least THC?

According to its product page, Gorilla Glue CBD Auto, with 0.17–0.27% THC and 12–14% CBD. It's followed by Red Berry CBD Auto, with less than 0.5%, and Haze Pure CBD Auto, with 0.5–1%. Low doesn't mean zero: no cannabis plant has 0% THC.

A big one from day one, so you don't have to transplant: the Gorilla Glue CBD Auto page recommends at least a 5-gallon pot. Since the plant has very little time to grow before flowering, any setback shows in its height and in the harvest.
