Colombian Haze feminised seeds
If one thing defines Colombian Haze, it is its link to the classic Colombian sativas and old-school Haze. Its most widely cited lineage combines Haze and Colombian Gold, a cross known for a strong sativa character and a complex aromatic expression.
Grown out, it reaches around 150 cm, with plenty of side branching and long, dense, resinous buds. Lime-green tones, golden pistils and a visible coat of trichomes complete a particularly recognisable structure. It can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse.
The aroma blends sweet citrus, herbs, pine, earth, spice and incense. Depending on the phenotype or batch, hints of blueberry, hash, coconut, vanilla, lemon and peppery spice may also appear. On the palate it stays fruity, resinous, earthy and spicy.
How Colombian Haze behaves in the grow
Flowering usually takes 8 to 10 weeks, although the more sativa-leaning expressions can stretch towards 70 days. In good conditions, yields can reach around 300 g per plant. Keep its generous lateral growth in mind when planning your space.
Because it develops well indoors, outdoors and under cover, it offers several growing options. Indoors, its moderate height makes space easy to manage; outdoors, your climate and the length of the season will decide how far its branching can go.
Colombian Haze effects
The dominant profile is cerebral, energetic, euphoric, creative and stimulating. It is described as a functional, daytime genetic, associated with focus, sociability, an uplifted mood and mental activity. Some more hybrid expressions may add moderate physical relaxation.
Traditionally documented THC sits around 12-14%, according to our breeders’ analyses, although some modern batches sold under this name show higher figures. CBD usually stays low, at around 0-1%.
Growers consistently highlight its energy, its giggly edge and a strong mental component, with a gradual comedown and a profile well suited to the daytime. On the palate, pine and smooth smoke stand out, alongside an unmistakably sativa character.
It is a combination in which pine, spice, earth and an incense backdrop accompany an expansive mental experience: an expression closely tied to the tropical, cerebral character of Colombian sativas and the aromatic signature of traditional Haze.
