In our breeders’ hands, Donny Burger feminised is treated as a relatively easy variety, provided the environment is under control. Indoors it calls for a serious carbon filter, as its intense smell of gas, garlic and salty funk does not go unnoticed.

The usual flowering time is 9–10 weeks, although the longer selections may benefit from 10–11 weeks to round out the aromatic profile. Outdoors it is best suited to areas where October brings settled weather; planted in the ground it can produce 500–600 g per plant. Practical tip: do not rush the chop if the aroma still smells too green, as it improves greatly once the resin has fully matured.

Growers point out that its phenotypes can vary on the nose: some lean towards a meaty, cheesy smell, while others come out funkier with a hint of sweet berries. In every case they agree on dense, attractive buds with plenty of trichomes.
