Some genetics are not trying to look modern. Lamb´s Breath plays in another league: Jamaican sativa, old tropical profile and an herbal-spicy personality you notice from the first touch of the bud.
This strain, also known as Lamb's Bread, is linked to Jamaica and reggae culture. Its exact genetics were not documented, as happens with many old landraces, but it keeps that classic sativa shape: narrow leaves, wide internodes, tall growth and a flowering period that asks for patience.
In flower, it can show lime green buds, orange pistils and golden highlights. Some expressions form long, airy flowers; others produce fuller nugs, with fine trichomes and clean resin at the end of ripening.
According to the experience of our breeders, Lamb´s Breath is more suitable for intermediate or experienced growers. Indoors, it is best to control height early, train the plant and prepare a well-ventilated canopy, because it can stretch strongly during the first weeks of flowering.
Its usual cycle is around 9-11 weeks, although the purest phenotypes may need more time. Outdoors, it prefers a warm, sunny, dry or well-ventilated tropical climate, with harvest around November in the northern hemisphere. Practical tip: do not keep it trapped in small pots if you want it to show its most productive and branchy side.
One grower who ran it outdoors told us it accepted training very well, but that he would save it for the dry season. Another highlighted a long grow, 145 days in total and 70 days of flowering, with good response to heat and around 50 fat colas at the end.

Lamb´s Breath is a sativa-dominant strain. It is usually described as around 95 % sativa and 5 % indica, although some expressions are considered directly 100 % sativa.
It is not the easiest option to start with. Because of its height, stretch and long flowering time, it fits better with intermediate or experienced growers.
