Guava Characteristics

Guava Feminized Seeds: Tropical, Gassy and Resinous

Guava stands out for a very distinctive blend: ripe tropical fruit and gas. Guava is joined by berries, grape, apricot and tree fruit, while the earthy, chemical and slightly fuel-like background keeps the flavor from being simply sweet.

This Guava comes from a selection derived from Gelato, with a background related to Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC and influences from Girl Scout Cookies, Pink Panties, OG Kush and Durban. The result is a sativa-leaning hybrid that combines good resin production with an intense and complex aromatic profile.

Guava seeds can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse. The plant develops a medium-height structure and completes flowering in around 8-10 weeks. Outdoors, harvest falls around late October in the Northern Hemisphere.

Growing Guava: Resin and 8-10 Weeks of Flowering

Our breeders especially highlight its resin production. Flowering takes between 8 and 10 weeks, with more specific references placing it around 60-63 days. Because of its ripening time, outdoor plants need a season that allows them to remain growing until late October.

We do not have enough information to reliably classify it as a beginner, intermediate or advanced variety. The practical advice is simple: watch trichome maturity before harvesting and use the flowering days as a guide, not as an automatic harvest date.

Guava Effects

Guava produces a mainly cerebral, active and creative effect. It supports focus, sociability and a good mood, making it especially well suited to creative activities, tasks that require concentration or plans with friends. As the experience develops, body relaxation appears alongside the mental stimulation.

The feedback we have received matches this character. One grower told us it seemed like an ideal genetic for getting things done and enjoying the process. Another described it as a typical sativa with added relaxation and a body high.

One of the most specific comments came from someone who, the first time they tried it, picked up a guitar and ended up completely focused on writing riffs. We have also received reports of a clearly fruity and gassy aroma and a pleasant flavor, two traits that directly match its profile of guava, ripe fruit, gas and earth.

On the palate, Guava starts with a ripe, tropical fruit sensation and finishes with a drier background of gas, earth and fuel. It is not an exclusively sweet variety: the gassy side adds contrast and gives the profile more depth.
