Spritzer

Spritzer characteristics

Spritzer feminised seeds

Spritzer shows its personality even before you get into the finer details: abundant resin, compact flowers and a highly expressive terpene profile. Its buds tend to be bright green, with orange pistils and a white layer of trichomes that is especially heavy in good selections.

Its lineage brings together Runtz, Grape Pie and MAC. Runtz adds the heritage of Zkittlez and Gelato, while Grape Pie links back to Cherry Pie and Grape Stomper. MAC, short for Miracle Alien Cookies, completes the mix with a strong resinous, earthy, citrus and spicy influence. The result is a photoperiod hybrid with great aromatic richness and some variation between phenotypes.

On the nose and palate it can range across grape, red berries, caramel, flowers, citrus, earth, spices and gas. Growers compare the scent of the living plant to a grape sweet factory and highlight an extraordinarily intense coating of trichomes, with the blend of caryophyllene and limonene coming through from the very first contact.

How Spritzer behaves during flowering

Spritzer shows vigorous growth, and some expressions can gain considerable height. Stretch in flower can be strong, so our breeders recommend planning height control and applying training before you run out of vertical space. The flowers usually start to bulk up noticeably around weeks 6 and 7.

Flowering takes roughly 9–10 weeks and yields can be medium-high depending on the selection and conditions. Those who have grown it mention medium yields, good stretch and a long bloom, offset by a very rewarding terpene load and potency that holds up outdoors too. Because of its vigour and stretch, it suits intermediate growers who can manage its structure. Outdoors, give it enough room and keep an eye on vertical growth.

Spritzer effects

The effect usually comes on quickly, with a cerebral, euphoric, creative and stimulating phase. It can bring a sense of motivation, focus, sociability and good mood. This is followed by more noticeable body relaxation, although many expressions stay functional and upbeat.

Feedback from those who have tried it reflects this dual nature well: an energetic, sociable effect alongside relaxation behind the eyes and throughout the body, and an initially cerebral feeling that softens over time. It is not uniformly sedating, so it sits comfortably in the daytime or afternoon.

At its best, Spritzer is reminiscent of a ripe fruit drink with sweetness, acidity and a subtle aromatic fizz in the background. Grape, caramel, citrus, flowers and gas weave together as the cerebral lift gives way to a gradually building physical calm.
