How to Control Its Stretch and Flowering

Its difficulty is moderate. It is better suited to growers with some experience in managing the canopy, humidity and branch support. During the transition to flowering it can double in size and keep stretching for several weeks after the switch to 12/12.

In some plants the stretch carries on strongly well into flowering while the plant still looks healthy, and poor ventilation can leave stems somewhat weak in the final stretch. So it is best to open up the plant with LST or light pruning, keep the air moving and put up netting or stakes before the buds get too heavy.

It responds well to topping when done early enough. It can also adapt to Sea of Green thanks to its tendency to concentrate the main flowers on medium-sized plants. Outdoors it appreciates a climate with a long enough season and no excessive humidity at the end of flowering.

Flowering usually takes 8-9 weeks, although some phenotypes may need closer to 10. To decide when to harvest, check the trichomes on the flowers, not just those on the sugar leaves. Wait until milky heads dominate and fine-tune the chop according to how many amber trichomes appear.
