OG Kush is possibly a cross between Chemdawg and a Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush hybrid. It has won multiple awards and given rise to countless other varieties, such as Bruce Banner, Girl Scout Cookies, Gelato and Candy Kush.
The letters OG stand for Ocean Grow because this variety originally grew near the west coast of California. Today it is one of the most widely reproduced plants around, and here you can get its seeds at the cheapest price.
It is a fast-growing, elegant plant with a fairly columnar structure. In favourable conditions, it can reach an impressive height of 1.5 metres. To get there, use a large pot of at least 20-25 litres from the very start. That way the plants will not slow down, as sometimes happens after transplanting, and they will reach their maximum possible size.
From germinating the seeds, it will take around 63-70 days to harvest. Outdoors you can bring in two consecutive crops during the season, and up to three if October tends to be dry.
It is not a variety famous for its yield. Its buds are the size of golf balls, but very numerous, very compact and extremely resinous.
It has an almost unmistakable aroma and flavour, with citrus notes of lemon, pine and diesel standing out. This is one of its strong points and much of the reason for its fame.

Yields are medium to high. Outdoor plants that grow tallest will reach 150 grams. Indoors, with a 300-350 W LED lighting setup, production will reach 500 grams per m².
