Amnesia Fast Version

Meet Amnesia Fast Version, the speedy version of the legendary Dutch Amnesia. Bred from a selection of Super Silver Haze and an autoflowering strain, it keeps all the magic of the original and adds a burst of speed. If you love potent, fast-flowering sativas, this is your best bet.

Amnesia Fast Version is the photoperiod version of everyone's favorite Amnesia, but with a shorter flowering time. Its parent is considered one of the finest Haze hybrids of all time. With sativa-dominant genetics that include Haze, Skunk and Northern Light #5 influences, this plant has a true champion's pedigree.

Visually, the Amnesia Fast Version plant is a sight to see. Indoors, it doesn't grow as vigorously or wildly as its big sister, which makes it easier to manage. Even so, it's still a large sativa hybrid, perfect for pruning and branch-training techniques that encourage horizontal growth.

Its buds are large and dense, coated in a thick layer of resin that sparkles like glass under the light. The lime-green color of the flowers, set off by orange pistils, creates a striking contrast. The buds are also very pungent, something to keep in mind if you need discretion.

Flavor and effects

Amnesia Fast Version doesn't just look impressive; it also delivers an unforgettable sensory experience. Open a jar of its buds and you're hit with an intense, heady aroma: citrus notes mingle with hints of tropical fruit like mango, fine woods and pine, a fragrance that brings to mind forests and ripe fruit.

When smoked, its flavor unfolds smoothly. From the very first tokes you'll taste citrus freshness over a sweet, woody base. It's a smooth, pleasant smoke with a lingering aftertaste, perfect if you love complex, refined flavors.

As for the effects, Amnesia Fast Version packs a punch. With THC ranging from 15% to 20%, it delivers a strongly psychoactive, cerebral onset that will make you forget everything. Ideal for when you want a creative boost or just feel like a good laugh. It's followed by a slow comedown with a relaxing finish, courtesy of its Northern Light #5 heritage. Its low CBD content, under 1%, makes for an intense, long-lasting experience.

Amnesia Fast Version terpenes

The terpenes in Amnesia Fast Version are behind its unique aromatic profile. The standouts are:

• Limonene: adds a refreshing citrus touch and is associated with an upbeat, cheerful high.
• Myrcene: with its damp-earth aroma, it's typical of relaxing strains.
• Beta-caryophyllene: brings a spicy, peppery aroma that rounds out the flavor.
• Alpha-pinene and beta-pinene: add fresh pine notes and are associated with a clear-headed high.
• Humulene and eucalyptol: complete the profile with earthy hints and a minty freshness.

These terpenes don't just create the outstanding aroma and flavor of Amnesia Fast Version; they also shape its effect, making it a complete, versatile strain.

Yield and flowering time

Amnesia Fast Version generously rewards growers with big harvests indoors and outdoors. Under ideal indoor conditions, it can produce about 1.5–1.8 oz per square foot. Thanks to its short flowering time of 55 to 60 days, you'll enjoy a fairly early harvest for a sativa-dominant plant.

Outdoors it shows its full potential, with yields of roughly 25–32 oz per plant. It's ideal for areas with short summers, since it's harvested between late September and early October, about 2–3 weeks earlier than the original Amnesia. Start it in early spring and you'll easily get plants well over 6.5 feet tall.

Its fast flowering and adaptability to different climates make Amnesia Fast Version an excellent choice for growers of all levels, delivering a high-quality harvest in a short time.

How to grow Amnesia Fast Version

Amnesia Fast Version is easy to grow and suits both beginners and experienced growers. Its difficulty is moderate, so it's accessible to anyone eager to learn and enjoy the process. It thrives in warm, sunny climates like California's, but it also adapts well to controlled indoor environments.

For best results, we recommend daytime temperatures of 68 °F to 81 °F, a little cooler at night. Amnesia Fast Version likes relative humidity of 55-60% during the vegetative stage, lowered to around 40% in flower. Keep your grow clean and check it regularly to prevent pests and diseases, although this strain is known for its natural resilience.

Amnesia Fast Version stands up well to common pests and diseases such as mold and fungus, which makes it easier to manage and helps ensure a healthy harvest. Even so, it's always smart to stay alert and take preventive steps, like using quality growing media and applying organic preventive sprays regularly.
