Some Haze strains demand patience, and Amnesia Haze clearly belongs in that group. Its long flowering period allows it to develop resinous flowers that stay compact when dry, with a good flower-to-leaf ratio when grown well. The reward is also in its aroma: lemon, lime and bright citrus over a classic Haze background.
These genetics are approximately 80% sativa-dominant and 20% indica. Its lineage is traditionally linked to Afghan, Hawaiian, Jamaican and Southeast Asian influences, along with the Haze character that defines the whole strain. Different selections exist under this name, so variations between phenotypes may appear.
Amnesia Haze seeds from Bulk Genetics are made for growers looking for a historic sativa with vigor, strong stretching ability and the potential to deliver abundant harvests. Its THC is around 19%, although some phenotypes can reach higher levels, according to tests from our breeders.
Our breeders rate it as medium-high difficulty. Indoors, it usually needs 10-12 weeks of flowering, with reports close to 84 days and phenotypes that can approach 90. It grows vigorously and tends to gain height quickly, so controlling the stretch from early in the grow is especially useful.
During flowering, it benefits from enough nutrients, good ventilation and controlled humidity, especially near the end of the cycle. Because of its sativa structure and long ripening period, outdoors it performs best where it can complete that long flowering phase in favorable conditions. One grower told us that their sativa phenotype needed around 90 days, grew very quickly and ended up covered in resin-loaded buds. Another described it as easy to manage, hungry and a big producer of flowers and resin.
Its profile is clearly suited to daytime use: it starts with a clear, stimulating mental lift that can feel euphoric, happy, creative, giggly and talkative. It is geared more toward activity, socializing and focus than a heavy experience before sleep. Several consumers have told us about feelings of energy, creativity and a good mood, while also highlighting its social character.
Do not mistake that functional character for mildness. Amnesia Haze can feel intense and highly psychoactive, especially at high doses or for sensitive people. Possible episodes of paranoia or dizziness have been reported, along with dry mouth and dry eyes.
In aroma and flavor, lemon and lime provide the bright side, while earth, spices and classic Haze build the base. Depending on the phenotype and curing, mint, pine, mild hash, light gas and some pungency may appear. It is a profile that starts fresh and citrusy but finishes with a more earthy and spicy impression.
