Channel is a cannabis variety famous for its reliability. If you're after a plant that's easy and quick to grow, as well as productive and potent, this genetic is exactly what you're looking for.

At heart, it's a Big Bud x Afghani hybrid with a slight indica dominance. It also shows a few sativa traits, such as its slender, pointed leaflets.

How to grow Channel

This is one of the easiest plants you can grow. It adapts to indoor and outdoor growing alike and is forgiving of grower mistakes. It tolerates high feed doses, but even minimal doses will be enough to produce top-quality weed.

Outdoors, although it prefers sunny, temperate climates such as the Mediterranean, Channel seeds will adapt to almost any environment.

Growth is very vigorous and the largest plants can reach 250 cm in height. It has the classic Christmas-tree structure, with short internodes and thick branches that help support the weight of the buds.

Indoors it suits any growing technique: from SOG with small clones to SCROG, thanks to how easily it branches and fills large spaces in just a few weeks.

Because of its genetic heritage, the smell during flowering is very intense. If you want to avoid trouble with the neighbours, a good carbon filter is a must.

Channel characteristics

Every grower wants a harvest of big, resinous buds, and Channel doesn't disappoint here. Bear in mind, though, that the flowers are so dense that good ventilation is essential, as they tend to be fairly susceptible to mould.

The aroma and flavour are delicious. You'll pick up sweet, honey-like notes with floral touches and a hashy edge with a hint of sourness.

The effect is powerful. After a euphoric onset thanks to a slight sativa influence, it turns very relaxing and calm. It's perfect for a mellow evening.

Another strong point of our Channel is its yield. Outdoors you'll be harvesting at the end of September. The largest plants will top a kilo.

Indoors, from the switch in photoperiod it's ready in just 45–50 days. It's also a super-productive variety that can deliver up to 600 grams per m² in an optimised grow.
